Hellaby Hall Hotel; BW Signature Collection, Hellaby

Our stay at Hellaby Hall was lovely, thanks to the complementary upgrade that made our special occasions even more memorable. The rooms were okay, though the ceilings were a bit low for taller guests like me, and the price felt a bit high for what we got. The service was generally good, but an unfortunate incident left us unsettled for the night. The location was good for our needs, but cleanliness issues and outdated decor were a bit disappointing. Dining was overall enjoyable, but with a few service hiccups. The facilities were decent, offering a pleasant experience overall.

The hotel room was a little disappointing. It was quite dusty and grimy, with an uncomfortable bed and a tiny bath. However, the evening reception and pool time were enjoyable. The executive room felt a bit basic.

The hotel is conveniently located near Yorkshire Wildlife Park and other attractions, providing a country feel with easy access to Sheffield, Wakefield, and Doncaster. While the room was spacious and clean, the damp smell and smoke odor were unwelcoming. The service ranged from friendly and professional to disengaged, with some room for improvement in restaurant attentiveness. The dining experience offered good hot food options, including a military breakfast, and the facilities, including the leisure club, were pleasant to use.
